Dr. Scott W. Harris, board certified by the American Board of Plastic surgery, is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Texas A&M University. He received his medical degree from Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. After Dr. Harris completed his general surgery training in Phoenix, Arizona, he accepted a plastic surgery residency at Baylor College of Medicine. This plastic surgery program is world renown, and has graduated many recognized pioneers in the plastic surgery field.
Upon completion of this training, Dr. Harris chose to enhance his surgical skills by accepting a Microvascular Fellowship in Reconstruction at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. The primary areas of focus at this facility were in reconstruction of the face, the breast, and the extremities.
Following Dr. Harris' exceptional training, he entered private practice in his hometown of Dallas. He specializes in facial cosmetic surgery, breast enhancement, and body contouring.
Dr. Scott Harris maintains staff privileges at the Medial Center Plano. He also has a fully accredited office surgical suite.
Professional medical journals have published Dr. Harris' articles on such topics as burn reconstruction, microvascular jaw reconstruction and reconstruction of the breast and nose. He has addressed local, state and national meetings on plastic surgery techniques.
