Chemical Peels

Chemical Peels are a wonderful way to improve an uneven skin tone and texture, minimize brown spots, improve blemishes and give the skin an overall glow. It is also an excellent way to jump start a good skin care routine.

There are many different types of Chemical Peels available. The choice is determined by an individual’s skin type and desired correction. The amount of peeling can range from light flaking to heavy peeling. OBAGI BLUE PEEL

The Obagi Blue Peel is an in-office procedure designed to significantly improve the appearance and health of your skin. Trichloroacetic acid (TCA) is mixed with the famous Obagi Blue Peel base to slow penetration, which allows the monitoring of the peel depth, to effectively remove the thin surface layers of aged and damaged skin. These cells are then replaced by healthier cells, allowing visible clarity and tightness. The Obagi Blue Peel is safe and effective for the neck, chest, hands, back, arms and legs.

MELANAGE PEEL

Finally there is a Chemical Peel designed to aggressively treat stubborn, deep seated brown spots, or melasma, and is safe on all skin types including darker skin. The Melanage Skin Brightening System is an innovative medicated masque peel designed to improve the texture and appearance of hyperpigmented skin. Patients will leave the office with the masque on, removing it after the required length of time and will follow an at-home regimen involving the application of several Melanage products given at the time of treatment.
