My recent surgery here was hands down the best surgical experience I’ve ever had. From the initial consultation to the post operative care, every member of the team made me feel comfortable, informed, and genuinely cared for. Dr. Alan Dulin is an outstanding surgeon whose professionalism, skill, and bedside manner inspired complete confidence. He took the time to answer every question and made me feel valued as a patient throughout the entire process. I also want to recognize Laurie, the anesthesiologist, who was exceptional. I’ve had bad experiences in the past with anesthesia and she patiently listened to my concerns. I didn’t experience any negative effects from the anesthesia and I owe that to her knowledge and expertise in her field. The nursing team deserves special recognition as well. Kara, Hope, Laura, Kylie and Melissa went above and beyond in every possible way. Their kindness, attentiveness, compassion, and attention to detail were remarkable. They anticipated needs before I even had to ask, checked on me frequently, and treated me with such warmth and genuine care that I felt more like family than a patient. What impressed me most was how seamlessly the entire team worked together. Every interaction reflected a culture of excellence and patient-centered care. It is rare to find a facility where every single person you encounter is committed to making your experience exceptional, but that is exactly what I found here. If you are considering surgery and want a team that combines world-class expertise with extraordinary compassion, I can’t recommend American Institute for Plastic Surgery highly enough. I recently had my breast augmentation at the American Institute for Plastic Surgery in Dallas, and I honestly could not be happier with my experience. Going into my consultation, I was very nervous, but after meeting with Dr. Dulin and his team, those nerves quickly turned into excitement. Dr. Dulin is incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and talented. He took the time to answer all of my questions, made me feel comfortable, and helped me feel confident in my decision. His staff is also amazing—everyone was so kind, welcoming, and supportive throughout the entire process. A special thank you to my nurse, Kara, who was absolutely wonderful. She made me feel so comfortable every step of the way and truly helped make the experience exciting rather than stressful. Laura, was also fantastic and so helpful throughout the process. A few weeks later, I am beyond happy with my results and couldn’t be more grateful to Dr. Dulin and his team. Posting this a year later, to thank Dr. Dulin for my top surgery that I got around April 2025. The healing was clean and wonderfully uneventful; minimal pain with no drains to worry about. I was able to use my arms again after a week. Fast forward to the present, and I feel so much better in my body. I love touching my chest, and can go to the gym regularly now, which I had avoided since I hated the weight of my chest before when I walked or ran. So yeah, I couldn't have asked for a better result. Thank you so much.

This was hands down the best medical care I have ever received. I have never been to a more efficient, professional, and caring practice in my life. I have a lot of experience in hospitals and doctors offices for myself and family members and they have been nightmarish. This practice is the complete office and I felt so confident in their care. Dr. Dulin and his team were truly fantastic. They handled my top surgery and I am thrilled with the result and the entire consultation process. My experience was phenomenal from start to finish. I went in for a double mastectomy and the entire process was made very easily. My nurse Kim was very straight forward, patient, attentive, helpful as well as humorous. My surgeon was Dr. Peter Raphael, my first impression was the one that mattered the most, the way he carried himself and introduced himself to me made me feel safe in his care and was a genuine Dr to patient relationship , he doesn’t just do his job, he loves it. My anesthesiologist was just as kind and humorous, he walked me through it all and sang to me to soothe my nerves. I have never been so welcomed and respected until I walked into their office. Thank you to everyone who had part in this one in a life time experience, everyone truly made it count. 10/10 would recommend.

I had my original top surgery with another doctor in another state, but needed a revision because my nipple placement was too low. I found Dr. Harris through another one of his patients and decided to book him for the revision. Dr. Harris and his staff were incredibly kind, thoughtful, and patient, taking the time to answer all of my questions and make me feel comfortable. I was able to have the procedure done under local anesthetic, which allowed me to see the revision after he finished. I’m very pleased with the new placement of my nipple—it looks so much better now! I couldn’t be happier and am excited to see the final healed result. I only wish I had known about Dr. Harris for my original surgery, but I’m truly grateful to have found him for my revision.

I wanted to wait through both procedures I've now had to take the time and write a thoughtful review of Dr. Raphael and his incredible staff. After losing 225+ pounds, I still looked in the mirror and saw the same girl I saw before all that work I had put in (body dysmorphia is a hateful explicative) so I started searching for a reputable surgeon to help me address my excess skin. I have now had an extended tummy tuck, breast reduction/lift/augmentation, and arm/thigh lift. Those were broken out into two different procedures and both could not have gone better. From my very first introduction/consultation with Cristal, I felt safe, seen and supported. Dr. Raphael in our consult took his time to listen to everything I had to say, answered an abundant number of questions, and then with the pride of someone that felt like I had known for years, he looked me square in the eyes and told me how immensely proud he was of me and he promised me that he would take care of me. He kept his promise. Now two weeks post-op of my arm/thigh lifts, I run to the mirror (safely, cautiously) each day to see the girl that I always knew was there. Dr. Raphael and his staff (Cristal, Chelsea, Kim, Lacy - y'all are angels from above) as well as all of the other girls at the front desk, in the office, and in the post-surgical area (Abby and Lexi, hanging with you post-op is my favorite) feel more like family than friends than staff at a doctor's office I happen to go to. I never once experienced shame (commonly associated with excess weight or residual reminders) with this crew - instead I found an immense amount of love and partnership in what felt like the final lap of a 3+ year journey. Not only can I not recommend Dr. Raphael and his team enough, I will never be able to repay them for the confidence they have given back to me. I am endlessly grateful and hope anyone in need or want of some confidence-inducing work done look no further!

Dr. Raphael and his team are amazing. From the first time I walked in the door, nervous and unsure, they were welcoming and made me feel comfortable. Even considering plastic surgery was well out of my comfort zone. I didn't feel out of place or awkward. Dr. Raphael has an incredible bedside manner and is calm and reassuring. I am 9 days post surgery for an extended tummy tuck, brachioplasty and liposuction. Although it will still take about another month for all the swelling to go down, I can see a difference everyday. Because of the multiple procedures, I was required to stay overnight with a private nurse. Lacey was so sweet and caring. I recommend American Institute for Plastic Surgery with 5 stars. Every step of the way through my journey, I was met with compassion and kindness. I've had a couple of questions pre and post surgery and I was able to talk to a nurse either immediately or with a prompt return call. If you are considering any type of plastic surgery, you will not go wrong with Dr. Raphael. Now, to fix my turkey neck and reduce the size of my nose next year.

Using this facility for my surgery was the best decision I have ever made. Dr. Dulin has absolutely amazing results and my recovery has been smoother than I could have ever imagined. I highly recommend Dr. Harris as your plastic surgeon! I had mommy make over 3 months ago, When I came in I was super nervous about my procedure. When he came in he explained everything all the pros and cons of the procedure. He is very realistic with you and what to expect. The results are phenomenal and turned out so great. He truly is the BEST at what he does. It went so smooth and he does not leave you questioning the after care he will throughly go over EVERYTHING. Not to mention the staff is amazing, specially Jennifer his Nurse, she always wants to make sure you are okay from start to finish. I would recommended him and his amazing staff to anyone. Highly recommend. I was referred to Dr Dulin by a very happy prior patient (who was also referred to him). I had a body lift performed by Dr Dulin over a year ago. It was life changing, better than I ever Imagined. I now get Botox quarterly from Lexy. She is honest, confident and her work is impeccable. Dr. Dulin’s nurse, Hope, took care of me following my surgery. I have never received better care. Laura was my consultant on all things... Although we had to travel 6 hours to this surgical institution, I in no way regret it. Prior to surgery, the Institute provided me a caseworker that helped facilitate all the paperwork, checked to make sure everything was completed before I arrived, and answered any question I had. The day before surgery, I was led into a luxurious waiting room. There, I talked to my caseworker, a nurse, the surgeon, Dr Raphael, and the anesthesiologist. We confirmed my goals for the surgery, how the surgery was to be done, and the schedule for the next day. Surgery went well the next day. The surgical suite was state of the art. The next day, I returned to check on my progress and to receive final instructions before I went home. Happily, they wrote all the instructions down as I was still a bit loopy from the surgery. During the next two weeks, the staff monitored my wellbeing through pictures and telephone conversations. They answered all my questions when I had them. Thus, I would fully recommend the Institute for all your transition needs.

Dr. Raphael did my original breast augmentation 30 years ago and when it was time for an upgrade, there was only one doctor I would consider. I went with Dr. Peter Raphael for a mastectomy. His bedside manner was incredible, he was kind, he was knowledgeable, and he placed everything on my chest proportionally, including the liposuction. I had my procedure back in 2016 & am VERY pleased with my results. I literally get compliments almost daily on how natural my breasts look lol 😂 I am writing this review because it’s been 7 years and I had my first breast exam (my fault) but the staff was sooo friendly and welcoming just as I remembered and made me feel like I was more than just a patient. Shout-out to Dr. Harris as well for his amazing skills and his warm personality. Trustworthy, friendly and delivers top notch results. I've been seeing Lori for Dysport injections, and she is the best! I've been other places in the past, but with Lori my results are better and last longer. She is a great listener and never tries to push unnecessary services. Dr. Rafael and his team have gone above and beyond to address a disaster and clean up a bad infection that happened to me at at a local Medspa. The treatment gave me a severe infection and their doctor suggested that I see a plastic surgeon to undo the damage. Doctor Rafael has been seeing me 4 times already and carefully trying to address the infection and swelling while extra careful not to cause nerve damage to my face. I highly recommend this doctor and his staff. They actually care and while super busy, they still work long hours and get you in even though another place caused the damage and the health concern. I am so lucky doctor Rafael saw me to address the infection otherwise I am afraid what horrible issues I would be dealing with now. I highly recommend rest assured you are in good hands!

I went to Dr. Harris in July, I had been turned down for lipo around my abdomen from some of the top Dr.‘s in Dallas. I had the same Dr. since 1998 but we ended our patient/Dr relationship due to what I believe was some unethical things. I was really having a hard time finding a Dr. that would actually do the lipo and TRUST the Dr. at the same time. My first visit with Dr. Harris was AMAZING, he understood where I was coming from and I understood where he was coming from. It was 50/50, he assured me he could do his part but I had to do mine as well. The thing ppl don’t understand is that when you have lipo, you have to workout and change your eating habits for it to work, it’s not a magical fix. I can’t say enough about Dr. Harris, he is now my new Dr. FOR SURE! The staff was amazing, Mona was always available and helpful and so supporting! I got my surgery on August 3rd or 4th 2020, I went back for my month check up and I had lost 32 lbs! I look AMAZING! I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Harris for your cosmetic needs! Thank you to Dr. Harris and his staff, I will be back!

I’m only 12 days post op but here ya go. I had a ruptured implant so implant removal and replaced, tummy tuck and muscle repair. My Dr. was Dr. Harris. From beginning to now, I couldn’t be any happier! From the surgical coordinator, Mona, Dr.Harris doing my surgery, Kim, my overnight nurse, and Kristen, nurse for my first follow up appointment and pre op appointment.....I love these people! I am loving my results which is amazing for so early on, I love the education from the staff, all around great experience! I am on many tummy tuck pages and do lots of research and I am floored at what some of the patients do not know, weren’t educated on, or what their results are, and what they are dealing with. So happy I made the choice I did!

Dr. Raphael is THE BEST Plastic surgeon. I’ve been seeIng him for 25 years. I started seeing him as a young woman in my mid thirties. Originally saw him for body sculpting. As I grew older I saw him for breast implants, a tummy tuck, and a face and neck lift. I am 60 years old, and I am routinely told that I look 40! I would not trust my face with any other Doctor.

Had surgery here with Dr. Dulin and I am IN LOVE with my results. They are better than I ever imagined. The nurses were all respectful and helpful and everyone I interacted with was just so kind. Shannon and Tracy and I forgot her name but Dulin's nurse were so kind. I hit one snag when they changed the time of a pre op appointment without much notice but besides that I had a great time. Dulin himself is very relaxed and to the point. He is super kind and has a wonderful manner. They also never failed to fully educate me on what I needed to do to secure a procedure and also what it would entail. At every step of the way I was asked if I had any questions and was fully supported by the staff. I would recommend Dulin and his staff to anyone looking for an experienced and professional team.

Had a fantastic experience with the American Plastic Surgery Institute. My primary contact was CeCe Serment. CeCe was very knowledgeable about the options available and the specifics of the procedure. She was extremely responsive to my questions and concerns. She made me feel very comfortable with the entire process. Dr Dulin and the nurses also did a fantastic job. Highly recommend them.

Great group of plastic surgeon's who I have know and worked with for many years! Dr. Raphael did lipo under my chin 6 years ago. One of the best things I have ever done for myself. I was never in any pain, healed fast and gorgeous results! So happy with my whole experience❤

I gave my experience 5 stars based on my interaction with everyone EXCEPT Cecilia. I was recommended to Dr. Dulin by a friend and after reading reviews, talking to staff and getting to know more about his background I knew I wanted him to be my surgeon. Cecilia was the coordinator working with me during and after my consult and I hate to paint anyone in a negative light but if it wasn’t for Ali, I would have found another surgeon. Cecilia would take up to 5 days getting back to me, avoid answering questions in emails that I needed to know in order to schedule my surgery and gave me inaccurate information in terms of recovery and scheduling based on what I was later told by the doctor and nurses. She was not very friendly and I feel that undergoing something as personal as a BA, you want to have someone who is somewhat attentive and friendly at the very least. It was very discouraging, uncomfortable and like I said, I nearly went to another surgeon because of her. When I told my concerns to another staff member, I was handed over to Ali and Kristin and my experience was A MILLION times better. Those two + Chelsea at the front desk were so unbelievably great and really went above and beyond for me! I can’t say enough good things about them. They truly made it a stress-free experience for me. Even throughout my recovery, Ali and Kristin were checking in on me. Dr. Dulin isn’t exactly the “warm and fuzzy” kind but he was very direct and answered all of my questions and I felt like I was in good hands going in. I am SO glad I stuck with him because I am 10 weeks out and am in love with the results of my BA. He is the man. Very smooth recovery, very little bruising and pain and my confidence has never been better. I would 100% recommend anyone wanting to have a BA done to go to Dr. Dulin.

This place is amazing. I had my top surgery here and they were extremely trans-friendly and respectful. Everyone I interacted with was super sweet and they took really good care of me. On top of all of that, my results are amazing! Dr. Raphael is the best!

Dr. Raphael and staff were great. I traveled 14 hours to have surgery specifically with him. I hadn't had surgery before and was very nervous. My anxiety level dropped a ton after my pre-op visit because of how the staff was and the environment. The surgical team were great and helped keep me calm before surgery. Everything went perfectly! All of my post-op care was great! I am very happy with my results! I would highly recommend Dr. Raphael and his staff!

Well I had my surgery back last year and I was very happy with my results! Dr Raphael was awesome and everyone in the clinic treated me Me upmost respect! Going back for more this December and I can't wait! They made sure I had plenty of pain medication! I loved The fact I had no JP drains. Can't wait to get my tummy tuck and lipo!! I'm grateful!!

I would give Dr. Harris and his staff all 5 stars! They made me feel very comfortable regarding the surgery that was to be performed, and the outcome was great. I would recommend their services to anyone looking for a breast augmentation procedure. The entire process was completely professional, and I would return to their office if I ever decide to have any other procedure performed. I would like to say "thank you" to everyone on the staff.

I know I am only eight weeks post op but I left my appointment today realizing there was so much I wanted to say but didn’t. So I wanted to take a minute to tell all of you just how grateful I am.
Thank you, not just to Dr. Dulin, but to every single person who has been part of this journey so far. Every nurse, coordinator, staff member, and team member who has answered questions, reassured me, checked on me, and cared for me along the way. Every interaction has made me feel supported, seen, and genuinely cared for.
Making the decision to have surgery was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever made. As a mom, it felt incredibly selfish at first. I spent so much time questioning whether I should do something for myself when my focus is always on everyone else. But what I didn’t realize was just how much this would impact my mental and emotional well-being.
Before surgery, I avoided mirrors. I hated seeing photos of myself. I wouldn’t let anyone see me undressed and it was affecting my marriage. There were even times I disliked taking a shower because it meant facing a body that no longer felt like mine. After having children, I struggled with confidence in a way I never expected.
I know I still have healing left to do, but you have already changed my life more than you could possibly know.
For the first time in a very long time, I feel beautiful again. I feel confident again. I feel comfortable in my own skin again. I catch myself looking in the mirror and smiling instead of criticizing. That is something I never thought I would be able to say.
Dr. Dulin’s talent is truly incredible and unmatched, but beyond that, I am so grateful for the care, compassion, and kindness that every member of this practice has shown me. You didn’t just perform a surgery you helped restore a part of me that I thought I had lost.
There will never be enough words to fully express how thankful I am, but I wanted you all to know the impact you’ve made. Thank you for helping me feel like myself again.
