Dysport is an injectible anti-wrinkle treatment that is closely related to Botox. Consumers now have a choice in their anti-wrinkle treatments. Dysport is a newly approved treatment in the US (as of April 2009), but has been used in Europe for many years.
A Dysport treatment consists of several tiny injections of abobotulinimtoxin type A. This protein in Dysport immobilizes the muscles around your forehead, crows feet and between your brows-which prevents you from frowning, corrects squint lines and lifts years from your appearance. Over the course of 7-9 days, the lines will diminish or disappear all together.
A Dysport treatment is quick. Injections can take less that 15 minutes, and can be a simple lunch time appointment with no down time. It is highly unlikely that you will have any unnatural expressions following a Dysport treatment-you will still enjoy normal facial movement such as smiling and raising your eyebrows, as you enjoy a smoother, more youthful you!
