For eyelid rejuvenation, there’s no better option than blepharoplasty surgery, also known as an eye lift. Blepharoplasty surgery features many possible incision options.

When blepharoplasty is being performed on the lower eyelid, the incision will either be transconjunctival or transcutaneous.

A transconjunctival incision is placed inside the lower lid, whereas a transcutaneous incision is made below the lash line on the lower lid. You’ll discuss these options during a consultation.

With upper-eyelid blepharoplasty, the incision is traditionally made on the natural line between the upper lid and the region under the eyebrow.
