Laser Hair Removal

Conveniently located to serve Dallas-Ft. Worth and Denton County

Laser treatments for unwanted hair are a non-invasive, FDA approved method of permanent hair reduction. You can be virtually razor free in a few months time. The laser affects hair follicles in the growing stages, requiring about six monthly sessions. Laser Hair Removal can be done on any part of the body and there is no down time. The treatment creates a little stinging sensation and is tolerated by most patients. Laser Hair Removal leaves the skin looking and feeling softer and smoother.

How Laser Removal Works

Waxing, shaving, and plucking are not only tedious and time-consuming, but they’re also painful ways to get rid of unwanted body hair. They can also leave your skin feeling irritated. With laser therapy you can rejuvenate skin, but the same technology can be used for laser hair removal procedures. What is offers is a painless and permanent way for you to get rid of any unwanted hair on your body. Whether it’s small thin hair on your upper lip and face or thick hair on your legs.

The Procedure

Laser Hair Removal can be used on pretty much any part of the body, including more sensitive and tender areas, like your bikini line, stomach, underarms and upper lip. The treatment works great on either men or women and offers a way to achieve smoother and sleeker skin without waxing or plucking.

The way the device works is by emitting a spectrum of light and heat directly into the follicle of the hair. What this does is break down the hair cells, which slows down growth. The laser heats up darker skin tissues, but leaves lighter skin completely unaffected.

The hair follicle becomes weaker and weaker over time and begins to grow back at an increasingly slower rate. Eventually the hair doesn’t grow back at all. Most treatments require 6 to 8 visits to break down the hair and disable the cells completely. Each treatment is spaced between 6 and 8 weeks. Areas where the hair grows in thicker, like the underarms or chest, may require more treatments.
